The mayor and his family are visiting the islands from France.  They will be on Oahu from April 19 to 26.

The 100th has extended an invitation to World War II veterans from the 100th, 442nd, MIS, 1399th, and current 100th/442nd soldiers to attend the luncheon for free as guests of the 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans organization. The cost for 100th members in good standing is $25 and for all others is $35.  As seats are limited to 100, please send your completed registration form on page 11 of this issue of the Puka Puka Parade (attached below) with payment (cash or check to “100th Infantry Battalion Veterans”) to the Clubhouse by Wednesday March 20.

Donations of greenery, flowers, pupus or desserts, and of Hawaiian-themed talent would be appreciated.  Volunteer help on the day of the event would also be welcome. Please contact the 100th Infantry office at 946-0272 or for more information.
